Read these results in context. SELECT enrolled adults aged 45 or older with established cardiovascular disease, BMI 27 or above and no diabetes. STEP 1 enrolled adults with overweight or obesity without diabetes; both groups received lifestyle intervention, and the glycaemic-status analysis was post hoc. These outcomes do not make Wegovy a substitute for condition-specific care. Individual results vary.

The FDA-approved schedule escalates the daily dose every 30 days: 1.5, then 4, 9, and 25 mg. Your physician may keep you at a lower dose for longer based on how you respond.
