DarDoc introduces iMatch™ caregiver-matching system for newborn and elderly care
The system assesses care requirements, caregiver capability, location, schedule and live availability before eligible profiles are presented to families.

According to the United Nations World Population Prospects 2024, the UAE recorded an estimated 108,273 births in 2024, equivalent to nearly 300 births a day. DarDoc has introduced iMatch™, its caregiver-matching system within the company's Care Plan Builder, for Newborn Care and Adult & Elderly Care in the UAE.
Matching based on care requirements and assessed capability
Professional certification and licence verification establish whether a caregiver meets the baseline requirements to provide care. DarDoc said iMatch extends that assessment by comparing each care plan with caregiver capability, location, schedule and live availability before profiles are presented.
For newborn care, the process begins with a Newborn Care Advisor documenting the baby's needs, the family's routine, required skills, service location, requested dates and relevant care considerations. iMatch then assesses six dimensions: care needs and requested skills, city, schedule, live availability, current assessment grade, and relevant language or household preferences.
Profiles that do not meet the plan requirements are excluded from the shortlist. DarDoc's care and operations teams review the proposed roster, after which the family can review eligible profiles, discuss them with an advisor and request an introductory conversation with a caregiver before confirming a booking.
Newborn-care framework covers 34 assessed capabilities
DarDoc's newborn-care capability framework covers 34 capabilities across four assessment grades. These include formula preparation, sterilisation and safe storage; reflux management; twins and multiples care; premature baby care; NICU transition support; complex feeding routines; and neonatal jaundice monitoring and escalation.
Each assessed capability is recorded on the caregiver's profile, allowing the matching process to distinguish between general professional eligibility and the capabilities assessed for a particular care plan.
Application to adult and elderly care
The Care Plan Builder is also live for Adult & Elderly Care. It records the requested scope of care, location, dates, shift timings and continuity requirements before a caregiver roster is prepared.
An adult returning home after hospital treatment may require a different capability profile from a person seeking mobility assistance, support with daily routines, overnight care or companionship. iMatch applies the same care-plan-first process before availability is reviewed.
Scheduling and roster coverage
The Care Plan Builder supports one-time care from four to 24 hours across a single day, multiple days or selected dates, as well as recurring plans on selected days of the week.
For 24-hour care, the system requires two distinct 12-hour caregiver shifts. It also records Primary and Reliever coverage for each required day.
Care-delivery and operational oversight
DarDoc said the Care Plan Builder brings together admission, detailed intake, scheduling, caregiver assessment and grading, matching, roster planning and care-plan creation in one workflow.
Keswin Suresh, Co-Founder and COO of DarDoc, said the launch incorporates five years of care-delivery and operational learning. The system is intended to support human review; DarDoc's care and operations teams remain responsible for confirming the suitability and availability of the final roster.
Availability
iMatch and the Care Plan Builder are available through DarDoc's Newborn Care and Adult & Elderly Care services in the UAE. Caregiver profiles, schedules and final availability remain subject to the requirements of each care plan and DarDoc's operational review.
